"Great"! Now that I've introduced
myself, let's jump right in.
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis
is a natural state of awareness that gives one the feeling of total emotional and physical relaxation.
In this state, the subconscious mind becomes very receptive to accepting both
positive and beneficial suggestions.
While in the hypnotic state, your mind is active and your thoughts and actions
are within your control.
An
example and much more easily understood sense of how hypnosis feels would be best described as being in a daydream.
We all are in hypniosis at one time or
another and don't even know it.
One example close to our heart is:
When we are so engrossed in a movie or
book that we don't quite hear our loved one talking to us.
Does this sound familiar?
Or when your at your destination and just
don't remember seeing everything you passed.
Of course this sounds familiar.
We've all had this happen to us.
These times are forms of being in hypnosis.
