I enjoy playing my electric violin.
I started my
violin lessons at Istanbul Conservatory in 1966, and studied 6 years with Didar Vardar and Lili Statzer. Later on
switched to my favorite instrument "viola" and studied 6 additional years with Dr. Erdoğan Saydam. I also studied
music theory and "Solfeges" with Hulusi Gurses and Cenan Akin; and harmony with Ferdi Statzer and Ahmet Yürür.
I graduated from Istabul
University State Conservatory Music Performance/Viola Department with honors, equivalent to Associate in Arts (A.A.) in
Music degree in the US.
