Summit Children's Program After Care and Camp

Welcome to the 2009-10 year at Summit Children's Program

Early care and education for chlldren 18 months to 5 years old.

Before and after school care for children in Kindergarten through 12 years old.

Summit Children's Program is located in the beautiful Mt Airy section of Philadelphia and Summit kids diversity, Erez, Aidanhas operated for more than 20 years housed within the Summit Presbyterian Church. We provide full-day child care for your children 18 months to Pre-Kindergarten. For the School Aged child, we offer an after school program (SAC) and summer camp (Camp Summit). Children who have been part of the Program from the toddler years to 12 years old year round, find a warm, second home at Summit.

Our collaboration with a movement instructor has enhanced the childrens’ music and acting performances. The children have also created a Museum on Wheels. A redone playground in the back of the building offers a safe venue with modern equipment to enjoy the outdoors.

No matter what age your child is, we are confident that we can provide the best care around. Please call to schedule a visit. For further information:

“The children really love this building...The connection is with good care, good people, and good space. There’s nothing elaborate about this building. Basically, it offers a shelter. The building has its own spirit, is a comfortable gathering place, and acts as a community center. People feel welcomed here. I think that’s good for children, especially our children. It’s a good introduction to how society works...Twenty years of children is a joy that not everyone has an opportunity to experience.”

Toddler teacher Joanne Woodburn,
who has taught at Summit since its inception.
