Norwegian Flag, Devra

Michael Kleiner, SAC parent, came to Summit over the summer 2007 to talk about his book, Beyond the Cold: An American's Warm Portrait of Norway. Here's an update from Michael:

"During camp, Tina asked me to come in again to talk about Norway, the book (for which she has written a glowing review), which coincided with the campers writing journals. My book is written as a journal and the children had also been drawing flags as part of activities. After the program, Tina asked the kids, age 6-9 years old to draw a picture and write a sentence about what impressed them about the presentation. The results were quite impressive and varied and I posted them on my web site."
