The question is: What is your opinion in regards to the following;

An 82 year man is on his death bed. He will live for two more weeks before passing away. One of his sons is making death threats against him because he (the son) thinks his father is taking too long to die.  The father had a stroke and due to this he had difficulty swallowing his food.  What does the son do?  He makes his father frankfurters for lunch. When confronted with this by another family member the son state's  "I only wish I could get him (the father) to walk over to the staircase so I can throw him down it"

A day later the father is back in the hospital. The death threats continue. The son state's several times over a period of several days "If I thought I could get away with it I would hold a pillow over his face."  In addition the following statements are made numerous times during the next few days: "He (the father) does not have the good common scense to just die"  "He should do us all a favor and just die" At about this time the son graps all of his father's and mother's financial records and other important papers and hides them in his apartment.

A week later the father passes away and the son now begins to direct his death threats against one of his brothers. He passes around a lie that his brother stole 10 thousand in US savings bonds from his mother. He soon raises the amount stolen to 21 thousand. (It was later determined that this was a lie) He tells another brother several times that if he does not get the bonds back he will "shoot him" with an illegal firearm that he has in his apartment. He then states that he will "shoot him in front of his child so he can watch his father die"

Soon after his father's funeral he has a lawyer visit the house. He has his mother sign legal documents that she should not have been allowed to sign as she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 6 years earlier. She has no idea as to the implications of the legal papers she signed. With this he took over all of his mother's finances and banking accounts. The lawyer should have never allowed a person 6 years into Alzheimer's to sign documents that she had no idea what they were. Two hours after the fact she already forgot that she signed anything.

I will be updating this site with audio an audio clip of one of the death threats. In the meantime if you have any comments please contact me at spiegeltmm@aol.com
