Several of the organizations that Carl volunteered for had

special tributes for Carl.

People's Music Network organized a special tribute for Carl during their June 2008 gathering.

People's Voice Cafe presented a Tribute Concert celebrating Carl's life in September, 2008. It was produced by Chris Lang.

World Hunger Year had a reward ceremony honoring Carl in November, 2008.

New York City Friends of Clearwater's tribute was in December, 2008.

 

 

NYCFC dedicated it's First Anual Water Festival to Carl. City Council Member Alan Gerson dedicated proclamations honoring Carl and Clearwater for thier good works. Two staff members presented the plaques.  I accepted the plaque for Carl and Pete Seeger accepted Clearwater's plaque. NYCFC will present Clearwater with its proclamation at the anual meeting.
