One of Carl's many activities was to work with New York City Friends of Clearwater and Croton Watershed
Clean Water Coalition to protect the Croton Resevoir system. It provides some of New York City's (and other locations') drinking
water.

My next coat was a dark pink version of this blue coat. Carl, who liked me in pink, picked out the color.
Carl grew his hair for me, and I wore pink for him. "If that's not love, what is?" (line from Fiddler On the Roof).
