Keeping Tempo

Thursday, June 23, 2005

Tick-Tock-Tick Posted by Hello

Today was a tempo run, and I have to say, it went pretty well. Looking back through my records, I believe I suffered a little bit from racing so much during the early season, and it's really just now that things are starting to come together again. As I'm now in the early part of a racing down-period for the next several weeks, I'm solely focused on quality, and intense, training. My one goal: to peak early- to mid-August for the big events. And so far, so good.

In other news, my man Nathan is preparing to rock Dalton this weekend as he takes to the trail for the 24 Hours of Adrenaline. That's two-four. Hours. Solo.

Roll on, Nathan, and good luck!
