Things started off slow and have gotten great over the month. Not quite making up last months losses but getting close. I've been playing at Poker.com. They have a very cool system of earning entry to the freerolls. Where you have to get so many comp points to earn an entry. Their freerolls are Very Nice! They have a 50K at the end of every month. A 10k Every weekend, and 1k and 2k's every weekday. It's A very nice place with a lot of very cool features. I've also played a lot at Stars again. I came in 3rd in a 180 man. It's a very busy place there. Well thanks for reading this year. Happy New Years! Cya next year. Thx
November 06
This month sucked! It may have been my biggest loss ever for a month. I've been playing at Doyle's Room mostly where it seems every donk would stay in no matter what and hit his card on the river. Yep, every time. It was disgusting, demoralizing and pathetic. I finally walked away for a week and tried to get a new out look. I started playing at Zodiac again which re opened to the U.S. Market. They currently have a 100% bonus also. I did see some light by the end of the month but it quickly was put out. Looking forward to next month hoping I may play better cya
October 06
The month started out ok but by the 10th I was in a serious funk! One of those where you can have pocket Aces and you just know your going to lose so you (pick one) over bet it, under bet it, bet it just right. And you still lose! Its gone on Way, Way, Way too long. Then they pass the bill and most places closed to U.S. players. God this month is really starting to suck. There are still plenty of places to play though. It's the end of the month now and I've just about lost all of my rocket money from my big August-September winnings. Things were so bad I went back to playing free rolls at like Absolute Poker, Paradise Poker, Ultimatebet, and Poker Room. Good luck and keep your head up when it's rough.
September 06
I've been rocking and rolling on the cash tables this month. Not unusual for me to leave a table up a hundred or more for any one sitting. Still kicking the doors on some sit-n-go. Have hit some bad beats towards the end of the month, my good cards streak may be waning. I've been up at Doyle's Room better part of the month and earned my Bonus ($135) in about a week. Not bad for a "bonus". That's all for this month good luck.
August 06
I was playing in the 20k on Party Poker mid month and came in 6th place won $1634.00 Nice one! I've been hot all month though. One of my buddies was watching and coaching me. The very next night he came in 2nd in the 10k. (He must have picked up some tips I think) I was long overdue for some good cards and what I like to call "thought-full luck". Where my brain is working well and I'm hitting cards. That's all for this month. Good luck at the tables!
July '06:
The month started out bad and gradually got better by month's end I was back in the swing. I tripled up my stack at Party Poker. I did that by playing my system and sticking to it! Got in a few of those Chris Moneymaker 5 million largest online tournament ever deals on Stars - 10000 players... its tough. I really like playing at smaller sites sometimes so your not lost in the sauce like Zodiac and Poker.com. Those other ones are just to many people. My Buddy from work played in the WSOP. Said he won $18000. Came in 9th in event 29. Not the main event. He said it was "grueling" 12 hr days. Another friend of mine from work is on Paradise Poker. He's loose as hell. Slapping down those rebuys like water. Crazy. On top of bad decisions he's been especially unlucky when he does play good starters. Gotta watch them stacks!. Ok that's all for this month cya'll at the tables!
June 2006:
June started off slow and ended that way to. I did earn my bonus from Poker.com. I'm happy about that and did quite well there. I like the setup there. And a nice little extra is when you earn 400 player points you get entry into some very nice free rolls there. $4000.00 if I remember. Then if you get 2000 player points during a week you earn entry into a $20000.00 free roll. Now that is very nice. There was about 800 people in the free rolls so it doesn't take all day. I kept running into a player there named DMAC. He had won entry to the WSOP for next month. (Lucky boy) Made me feel good that I knocked him out twice, though I've seen him 4 or 5 times. I've also been playing at Poker Stars again as a friend of mine (Bickey22) started playing there. I did ok this month considering I don't know where my mind was. Just not getting into it. Not reading people. Categorizing them just sitting there. No big wins either though. As Teddy KGB says just waiting for me to stick it in you. Anyway That's all for this month. Good luck all!
May :
May was another dead month for me mostly. What happened in April had carried over somewhat in my head and in the cards I was getting. There was one or two bright spots though. One was at Party Poker. I have a few friends that play there and I was trying to locate one of them so I logged in. The account I have there had very little money in it. ($1.20) I was looking to reload and looked for a bonus. Right under the account was a line that said click here for bonus So I clicked there and they gave me $35.00. I ran that into $96 or so over the weekend. I never found my buddy lol. The other was at pittbull poker. I deposited $100 just to work up the matching bonus. When I finally earned enough comp points for the bonus I was feeling it. So I kept playing and ran that account into $450 or so when I finished. The rest of the month really, Really sucked though!
Happy times
April 2006,
April started off with a bang and I was kickin' butt and takin names. Moved up in stakes and was earning nicely. Then April 16th came. And my game , my luck and my lil poker world went swerling down the toilet. I dunno what happened but heres a sort of recap to the 2nd part of the month. No cards, forced the issue at times and lost. Or, got cards and got hit with a bad beat syndrome. Where I just knew his card was coming. Later in the month my head was so screwed up from losing I was betting stupidly. Needless to say I moved back down in stakes and minimized my losses. You know what they say what goes up must come down (they didn't say it would be a crash). I'm still playing the $1 rebuy at 11 cst on Zodiac Poker.Net. And ive been hanging out at Ultimatebet during the morning. Kinda like their 3 table 18 player sit and go's. Welp that all for this month. Good day and good luck!
March 06 :
Ultimate Bet had a nice 100% reload bonus so I gave them another shot. Its been a year or so since I donked off my money there and I think I'm a much better player now. Must be true, as my stack there has grown by 60% with out much time spent. A big thing this month was Absolute Poker bought out UPlayPoker.com. With that they are offering all UPlay account holders 200% bonus to deposit in Absolute. Nice deal indeed.
I had this one hand I cant get over thinking I did the right moves with but lost. Obviously I still think about it. Was it a bad beat or donking off my profits as I was hot and way up on the table (3x my sit down money) It was a $1-2 NL table. I pulled an AK diamonds on the deal and went $6 pre-flop 4 people were in already. They all called. The flop came Qd, Ac and 4d. 1st bettor checked the 2nd guy went $4 the 3rd guy raised to $8. (I had hit an ace and had the nut flush draw.) I figured one of the other guys to have an ace so I didn't think the raiser had an ace but I figured the raiser for what I call a silent set (one I usually don't see till its too late). Ok so he has trip 4s. I needed a diamond or the case ace and I was fairly pot committed. As I said I was way up at the table so I played loose and went all in. I got called by both of them and the turn was the 4c. He hit quads. The river was of course a diamond to get my flush and I scrimped back some money from the other guy who did have the other ace. It was a $95 pot. Of which I lost $15. Is that so bad? Did I do the wrong thing? I still wonder. Let me know if you have some opinion here realmoneyaccount@comcast.net
Good Luck All.
February 06 :
Ah February, February, February! Gosh what a suckie month, No wonder we made it the shortest month. I did however manage to take money out of several of my accounts. I promptly some of that money and opened an account at Pittbullpoker.com They have a 100% instant match up to $100. All I had to do was earn 200 comp points and Walla justs like doubling up. There is no download for pittbull as it plays in your browser window. I also put money into Poker.com. They have a 50% bonus up to $200. I'm still working on that bonus, as it's a lil harder to earn. The play there seems a little bit slower but some of the cool things there are the rabbit cam feature and the games play in the same window you are in just click and watch. That's all this month. Good luck.
January 2006 :
I had a "double high" on my biorhythms this month. Meaning I had a high on emotion and intelligence. What I always find significant about that is that I never feel lucky but I think I will be. Truth is I usually play well around those times. My mind is focused yet relaxed enough to be patient. When I need to hit a card, they come. My high day was Saturday Jan 28th. I got in about 10 single table tourneys at various sites. Zodiac, Absolute, and Stars. I WON 8 of the matches came in 2nd in one and got knocked out 1st on the other one. (A bad call and bad beat, I had a set and a dude called with a flush draw all in.) That's my story for the month. Drop me a line and tell me about yours and I'll post them!
