December 2007
December started out bad but wound up good. Doyles Room opened back up and I slipped in there to get a nice 200% bonus and a rebate on the bounty they have every Wednesday, which was the highlight of my month actually. Im sittin there in the Bounty and Hoyt Corkins sits across from me with a stack 2x mine but hey ok im happy to be there then i double up through him and im reeeely happy.. a few seconds later Mike Caro sits 2 down on my left with only 350 in chips!( he's worth $500 if you ko him) I get a nice hand on the button and that puts Mike on the Big Blind so he's screwed but the job still has to be done ya know. Anyway he gets 5 callers to the blind and its to me. I have A9 but im lookin at all the players in already and decide id rather win than to chase a dream. ( my buddys screamin go go go) lol no I cant just donk off like that and try to suck out. So I fold and Mike goes all in with the rest.. blah blah blah Hoyt Corkins Ko'd 3 ( I woulda lost). Then the table gets broke up... But my heart was a pounding. I did the usual on Poker.com and Full Tilt. I reloaded on Poker.com just to work off a 100% bonus though.. Keep'em hittin the felt!

Dismal month but hey what can ya do? I stayed away as much as I thought I should and still managed to loose money. Had one or two bright mornings on Poker.com but not enough of em. Watched my buddy run up a nice roll on Full Tilt. Sheesh ya think he would throw me a bone eh? Well that's the way it goes sometimes. Hang in there.

I qualified to the Full Tilt 750k qualifier again this time on 50 Comp points. Beat out 54 peeps but I didn't make it to the 750K bummin... I could have bought into the 50+5 but its like paying for sex after you get it for next to nothing... lol . Also made my bonus at Absolute and played some on Ultimate Bet as Phil Heluth gave me $10 in the mail... lol I still don't like him... heh. Looking forward to December and winning the 750K.. I can do it I know I can do it. That prize runs at like $137,000 for 1st place... I can do it ... I can do it..... Make your pots monsters and enjoy your games.

I joined Full Tilt this month and Wow am I happy about playing there. I made a few sub qualifiers for the 750k on my 1st trys one was for 2 bucks and finished 36 man I took it down! Then got to play in the 50+5 on Sunday. That was easy money as about 1 in 4 qualified to the 750K. I qualified then played the 750k a half hour later. Whew that was a long day but well worth it. I started at 8 am , played to noon when the Cowboys were on then after the game the 50+5 started and a half hour after that the 750 started. I played in it untill 12:30ish Monday morning where I got KO'D in 73rd place to win $1125. That was a very nice ROI. Off 2 bucks eh? I also played in the 50K on poker.com but got ko'd early. I realy like the setup at Full Tilt makes it easy to get in the 750K. And I plan to be back in it! Cya's.

Hit it nice at mid month. Made 4 out of 4 final tables in one day at Poker.com then quickly lost my game and my feel. Sometimes I think I just get to used to hitting good cards and cant be paitent for the strong hands to start with. I joined Gut Shot Poker and made a deposit on Absolute for a nice bonus to work off. It's a long hot summer. That's it for this month.

My Bio ramped up. Been going nuts on the cash tables pulling in significant amounts of Comp points and cash. Been playing at Poker.com and PokerStars. Ive also hit big on Absolute. Im a wild man hitting cards left right and river! Toward the end of the month I slowed down. I re-read Eric Lingrens book. He a a genuis. Short note this month though. Sorry. Good luck at the tables though.

Very busy month for me had a hard time even qualifying for the 10 k's but I did and cashed 4 out of 4 times in the freerolls on Poker.com. Im getting to like that. Its my thoughts that the more times you get there the more comfortable you will be when you are hitting the cards that will propel you to the final table... and that's what its all about in tourny play. I was so close I got ko'd on one of those ace 5 two pair hands.... Someday ill learn the dude had nothing and called an all in with a inside straight draw..... that's despicable but when those big stacks move they seem to hit more than us "mortals" I'm sure you know what I mean. I can feel my Bio ramping up and I got kind of hot at times in the last few days where I knew what was going to hit and happen... its coming . I also played at Stars and Zodiac again. Hit a 180 man on pokerstars... I like that. Have a good one.

I played a little bit on Zodiac this month. Same old same old there... them canucks are a lot of fun but for some reason the don't like Americans ,,, heh Who Knew? They blame GW Bush on all of us... oh well. My play this month was very conservative and tight. Conserving my funds for the hot times in July And August. Also this time of year there is a lot of other stuff to do which turned out not to good as I hurt my back... get this... going to a massage. Now I'm going to the cyropractor 3 times a week. Stay away from them off the wall massage ladies !. Also again I cashed in Poker.com freerolls 3 outa 4 times one in the 50k was for $100. I read a good article about playing and feeling out starters here "http://www.playwinningpoker.com/articles/00/21.html". Kind loosened me up to FEEL a little more about what is going on instead of being so mechanical. Cya's

April `07
This month was kind of dull after the hot streak I was on in the last month and a half. I played almost exclusively at Poker.com and Stars. Although I did cash in the 10k 3 times in 4 weeks. ( under $100 ). Mostly played limit cash tables. They taught me to read players better believe it or not. Its my belief that limit players are just tighter since its harder to bluff. Therefore if you pay attention you can steal blinds when they check it down. And when they do call you, you can rest assured folding is not a bad move if you have nada. Its hard to translate this info to no limit though you can gain from the experience of the timing of their bets. That's all this month cya's

March started off with a roar and ended with a wimper.. After winning big at the end of Feb I continued doing well in March. And on March 4th got a 2nd place in the Poker.com 10k freeroll worth $1000 I also won much at cash tables usually leaving with double my sit down money. I would play at limit and or no limit tables it didn't matter I was gold as in Jamie Gold!. I cooled off by months end after taking a nice "Spring break vacation" with my recent earning. Keep on keeping on.

February 07
February was "ho humm" and ended with a bang! I could feel momentum building in my game all month then at month end BAM I hit! I had been saving my $60 coupon for the Poker.com 20k and on Feb 25th I played it and got 5th place for $1200. Played well after that and for bigger stakes pulling in hundreds the last 3-4 days of Feb. Also cashed in 2 180 man sngs at Stars poker. Feeling good headed for March!

January 2007
The year started off bad and stayed that way for most of January. Just not hitting hands or playing well . Take your pick. It all adds up to losses. Since Doyle's Room closed to US players I dropped my account from there and advertising on my own site. Its dead anyway there. Went down 10000 players to 700 when the stopped US players. Ive been playing at Poker.com still mostly and Absolute poker. A long dreary month, I took 2 weeks off to reset my poker mind.
