Adams County is located in south central Ohio. To the south is the Ohio River, and to the east is a part of the Appalachian Range. Adams County is about 80 miles east of Cincinnati, 45 minutes south of Chillicothe and right across the river from Maysville, KY. Mainly made-up of farming communities, Adams County also has an expanding line of industries, ranging from manufacturing plants to local craftsmen, and everything in between.

RECYCLe YOUR ELECTRONIC Have all your computer upgrades caused your closets, garages, and outbuildings to overflow with unwanted electronic? Would you like to see them recycled instead of thrown in a waste dump? On May 17th the Adams County Chamber of Commerce is teaming with E-waste and the Movie Gallery to offer you a 100% recyclable way to get rid of those old unwanted electronics without sending them to a landfill. This service is set up for area residence in Adams and the surrounding Counties. Residences can bring an unlimited amount of electronics. They will take up to 2 complete computer systems from businesses, but prefer to work one-on-one with big business drop-offs. E-waste guarantees all hard drives are wiped in accordance with USA Department of Defense Standards 5220.22-M. They take most electronic devises from PCs to cell phones. However, they do charge a fee for collecting TV’s due to the lead inside them - $5 for TV’s smaller than 27 inches and $10 for TV’s larger than 27 Inches.     Please visit E-Waste online at www.e-wasteonline.com and be sure to mark your calendar for MAY 17th to drop off your e-waste in front of the Movie Gallery in West Union, located in the old Wal-mart location which is in front of the new Wal-mart.
