Rebreather Main... Mk15 Class Chassis...

I did my training class for the Mk15 in Florida in March of 2001. Kevin Juergenson taught the class. We did a lot of classroom and learned how to maintain the units. We learned new skills in the pool and practiced them before venturing out for some open water dives in the Keys and in West Palm Beach. Ken Swain was nice enough to share some pictures that he took during the class with me so that I could put them up here on my site.

Here I am on the tailgate of the pickup inspecting the load of Mk15 assembled for the class.

Chris sits back and relaxes on top of a bed load of Mk15s as we gear up for some pool work. We had 5 Mk15s, a couple of Inspirations, a Mares unit and I think a Meg was running around somewhere during our class.

After a good deal of time in the classroom we head out and do some training in the pool. Here we have all turned Tom Mount's back yard into a frenzy of Mk15 activity. Here we did drills and got used to the rigs.

Thanks Tom!

Done with more classroom sessions we are ready to do some more water work on the rigs. Me, Chris, Andrea (Klaus's girlfriend) and Klaus pose for a group shot after loading up the truck and getting ready to head out for a dive.
