the 2009 Discount Card Fundraiser

The Discount Card Fundraiser is a new fundraiser for the Coatesville Parents’ Music Club this year. All proceeds benefit the Marching Red Raiders, Indoor Drum Line and Indoor Color Guard.

Each discount card costs $10.00. We are asking that each band and color guard member sell 10 discount cards. They should be easy to sell because CPMC has put together a list of LOCAL participating vendors based on student and parent surveys conducted during band class and at CPMC meetings. You, your friends, and neighbors frequent all of the local restaurants and stores that are participating in this fundraiser.

The order form is attached. Please fill out your name, phone number and section above the box. When you sell a card, complete the order form by listing the buyer’s name, phone number, number of cards ordered, amount due, amount paid and whether they paid in cash or check. Payment must be made when ordered. Cards will not be delivered without payment.

We expect the cards to arrive by the end of October. We will begin delivery of any ordered cards as soon as they arrive. Cards will be delivered to you the seller, and it is your responsibility to deliver them to your buyers.

The discounts on the cards start December 1, 2009 and are valid through December 31, 2010—13 months.

Place your orders in an envelope labeled “Discount Cards” and put them in the CPMC mailbox in the band room.

These cards will make excellent gifts and stocking stuffers—Christmas is just around the corner.

This fundraiser can be quite successful if you participate. Remember that all proceeds benefit the Marching Red Raiders, Indoor Drum Line and Indoor Color Guard.
