A Word About COB Etiquette
The band parents asked to make sure everyone was on the same page about etiquette in the stands during awards. First of all, remember that you are representing Coatesville in whatever you do at the competition, whether it’s doing what you’re not supposed to do or doing something extra to show pride in your school. Showing extra pride means being respectful when another band or person is performing. Also, this means you get to cheer your butt off and stand and jump around when Coatesville is called and the drum major comes back to the stands. Please remember NO CELL PHONES. It’s disrespectful, and it makes you look extra bad when you’re not paying attention to what’s going on. Lastly, remember to bring snacks AND money, to make sure you’re covered food-wise for the entire day.
