XFDL 2007-02-27 Data Extensible Forms Description Language (XFDL) is an XML syntax that simplifies the design, development and deployment of secure, high precision forms providing a rich user experience. To ensure the integrity of important records, the data must be bound to its presentation. XFDL was initially proposed for establishment as a W3C Recommendation. Adoption of an open, XML-based standard like XFDL will enable government agencies to more securely and effectively manage and preserve records with high degrees of integrity, thereby helping to reduce the risk of waste, fraud, and abuse.
