For more than 30 years, I have had the opportunity to work
with people in the electronic and print media in many different
positions and countless situations and subjects. During the
mid-80, I enjoyed heading my own publishing/editorial team for
Horizon House Publications in producing Telecommunications Magazine
North American and International Editions. I take great pride in
some of that team like Denis Gilhooley subsequently scaling their
own careers as Publisher of Communications Week International,
the Wall Street Journal and many related initiatives. Over this
period, in working with the press, I've always maintained an
international reputation of frankness and honesty in identifying and
explaining significant developments. It also helped that I was
one of them and spoke their language.
This background proved very valuable in rapidly scaling
Internet visibility among the press. The period between 1994-95
became particularly intensive as reporters and publications
around zeroed in to get interviews and just talk about the
Internet on a daily basis. This particular profile was from the
April 1995 issue of the new Japanese magazine
"Internet."
