to other worlds/realms: Lower World, where the totems/allies live, animal and plant, the spiritual aspect of our Middle World,
and the Upper World, where the mentors and ancestors and other helping spirits live. Tuition

Women's
Initiation Ceremony into Womanhood, a ceremony given
to us by Joseph Rael (Beautiful Painted
Arrow) passed to his companion, Caroline Powell. She, in turn, has given it to Angie Bear Heart and others.
This day will be on sacred
land in Rising Sun, MD, hosted by Martha and Eddie Holmes. We are
blessed to be on 16 acres of protected
wetland, including a large prayer site, Medicine Wheel, Peace Shrine, and Sacred Sweat Lodge. Today
will be a formal introduction to womanhood, regardless of your present age.
Mature women are invited to this event, because their life exper-ience is so different from young teenagers. (Teens
will have their own ceremony on a different date.)
Our modern-day American culture does not give us transitional
ceremonies to escort and acknowledge us as we move from one aspect of our life to another. This day will bridge
that gap. Limited to 20 women.

Learn ancient mantras (chants) from the Tiwa-speaking people of the
Picuris Pueblo in North Central New Mexico, where my teacher, Beautiful
Painted Arrow/Joseph Rael grew up. His father was a chief there, and Joseph has spent his adult life researching the

On these dark Fall evenings we will have the perfect, traditional opportunity
to practice one of shamanism's most ancient practices: TRAVELING
ON THE DRUM. You'll learn to temporarily leave this physical realm in order to visit some of the other 'floors
of reality' where our helping spirits reside.
Nov. 7: Explore
the spiritual aspect of our physical world.
Visit with the spirits of the land where you reside.
Nov. 21: Go to the 'Lower World', a level where totem spirits
(allies) live: your animal-spirit helpers, plant and
stone people also. This is not to be confused with a
religious 'lower world' !!
Dec. 5: Go to the 'Upper World' where our ancestral spirits,
shamans and spirit-mentors wait for us to come and
see them.
The purpose of Journeying, as it is called, traditionally is for the purpose
of gaining wisdom, learning important teachings, increasing our personal 'medicine', and seeking help and healing for others
in our community.
Journeying does not conflict with anyone's religious point of view or sacred
beliefs. It is one of the most ancient practices and is being researched and honored by professional therapeutic counselors
worldwide.

Reiki Master Apprenticeship: Begins
again in September of 2007. $175/month tuition.
One-year program: one day a month.
Ongoing reading, assignments, energy work, and breathwork every month. There is a great deal of personal development work and expanded energy awareness study. Sensitivity to subtle energies is enlarged.
Master classes are spaced
every 4-5 weeks apart, making
an effort to accommodate
students' busy lives and other commitments.
Any days missed should
be made up before the next class, so you don't fall behind. You can split this between 2 evenings or we can
find an empty day and make
it up then.
In return, I give my absolute
BEST EFFORT and limitless time in support of those generous souls who are fascinated with this beautiful healing

To qualify
for this program, contact me, and we'll talk about your current level of experience
and training. You should be able to show me your journal of sessions done, with
many notations by now. To be really experienced and good at what you are
doing, I estimate that for most people, this means having 6 months of working at Level 2 already under
your belt.
There is
no reason to take more advanced classes if you are not
prepared enough, or experienced. It will not mean much to you and you won't be able to carry the increased level of vibration
with ease and comfort. I have never been a believer in randomly handing out certificates without sufficient justification
and faith in my students.
I am karmically
responsible for my students and if you are not ready, I am not doing you a favor by attuning
you! I am not in this instruction capacity just to get rich from unsuspecting students who may or may not be ready
for the change in their body energy, and the increased psychic abilities which frequently accompany attunements.

parts to ascertain details of damage/injury.

shamanic practice.
Reiki
is the ultimate Shamanic Practice, I have found to my surprise.
One is dealing with the participation of the non-physical world ("Put the power here" and other mantras that go with
the symbols) and invoking Divine assistance. There are very sweet possibilities for working in concert with the spirit
world to effect healing; they come to the open-minded and full-hearted
student.
GRADUATION & final Master-Level Attunement !!!
YAY !!! This takes place the month immediately following your last Level 4 class. You'll
invite other practitioners you know (beyond your classmates) or family members. Everyone dresses up and there's
a feast: it's a celebration!
No certificates
are given at any level until all tuition fees have been paid and all listed
studies have been completed. Where there is no exchange, no value is placed and the student ends up resenting the 'freebie';
the 'medicine' will not 'take.'
That being
said, please reflect on the following:
This whole Earth Walk is a training in itself.
Our challenge is to be as conscious in each moment as possible. Every client or friend you work on will be a new experience
for you, as their physical or non-physical bodies will be teaching you something new and you will be making new realizations.
I
can perfectly easily attune you in 5 minutes, hand you a certificate and wish
you well, but an inclination toward haste is a deep trap.
[Reiki energy] Master Yoda said, in Star Wars,
"Take not the quick and easy path--avoid the dark side of the Force." That
way lie sloppy procedures, disrespect for the elders who made sure that Reiki survived the second World War, disrespect for
the practice of Reiki and for your clients, and ultimately, is the ultimate disrespect for yourself. That way lies the
trap of a slide into arrogance and an acquiescence to incompletion as a way of life.
