Dr. Bernardo Peixoto ('Ipupiara'), a double-Ph.D. shaman
from the Brazilian rainforest. Ipu has a foot in both the
traditional world and the modern one. You may find him
at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C., telling
tourists about the rainforest. He conducted many classes
my home and others in PA to a group of shamanic prac-
titioners. Ipu teaches classic rainforest healing techniques.
