Howard County Clarinet Camp
a private summer day camp in Howard County, Maryland - since 1996
The Howard County Clarinet Camp provides a fun week of learning about the clarinet and furthering of musical skills. It is intended for young people ages 11 to 17 who have played for at least 2 years and love music and the clarinet. Campers play in small groups with others of similar experience and in a clarinet choir. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm for one week in the summer. Ann Quinn is the founder and director of the Howard County Clarinet Camp. She performs locally with the Annapolis Opera and Maryland Symphony, has played with the Houston Symphony and has toured internationally with the Cimarron Wind Quintet. Ann has over 20 years of private teaching experience, including 10 years on the faculty of Greenwood Music Camp in Massachussetts.
