Athletes who are being nominated must have resided
in Arlington while graduating
from high school, or must have been long-time
residents of Arlington during his or her athletic
career. Other than for exceptional reasons, such
as world recognition, athletes become eligible
for nomination ten years after their high
school graduation.
Coaches, Contest Officials and Others,
must have resided
in Arlington while graduating from high school,
or must have been long-time residents of Arlington
during his or her athletic career, or must have been
long associated with Arlington County sports programs
through their amateur, professional or business status.
Coaches, contest officials and others become eligible
for nominations thirty years after their high school
graduation.
