This is only a list of simple things one can do to improve the appearance of a property without spending a lot of
money. For example: Picking up around your yard and home, as well as making sure it has a nice fresh trimmed look. Painting
those much needed walls or ceilings. Cleaning your windows and window panes. Waxing bare floors.
If closet or bedroom doors don't close easily, leave them ajar when showing the house so people won't struggle with them.
Put
clothes and papers away, leaving counter space free of odds and ends. Clutter is unappealing to potential buyers.
Above all, remember dollars and sense.
