I've just listed a home on Little Gasparilla Island. Where is that you ask. Well, it is a barrier island in
Placida next to Gasparilla island where the town of Boca Grand is located. Boca Grand is known for its Tarpon fishing.
Placida is only a 30 minute trip from my home here in Englewood. My family has a home on Little Gasparilla island
and we try to be there every weekend. The only way there is by boat, a quick trip across the bay.
On Little Gasparilla Island you will enjoy seven miles of an unspoiled, uncrowded and unbelievably beautiful
beach. It's a beachcombers paradise. There's outstanding fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Snapper, Redfish
and more here in our waters. At the end of the day you don't want to miss the neighbors gathering on the beach
to watch our phenomenal sunsets while also enjoying each others company. It's the kind of place where if
you run out of sugar for your tea you just go ask a neighbor, even if you don't know them, and they'll be more than delighted
to give you some.
