South Part of Lake --July 2009
Two Jigs & A Rap Fishing Team
We had a fun week at Lake Weslemkoon, east
of Bancroft Ontario.
The Team caught some really good
sized bass, both largemouth and smallmouth, during their weeklong stay.
Our cabin was right at the waters
edge at Pioneer Point Cottages and our host Mike checked in with us throughout the week to make sure all was well. Check out some of the sights and fish from our week there.
Ray, Tom and Mike just before heading out for an evening
on the water.

We tried fishing it all but there is just so much of
it!

Tom's been tossing this frog for awhile now, and it finally
starting paying off on this lake!

Mike pulled this one out from under some pads.

On an absolutely beautiful morning we caught a lot
of fish as the sky stayed overcast till the fog lifted.

Toms first fish of the trip was not a bad one at all!

After a real long day Mike caught this fat smallie topwater
fishing to end the night.

Ray caught the only cicso of the trip while working a
tube jig for smallies.

Ray and Mike working the bogs and stumps for some bass.

Our home away from home for the week at Pioneer Point
'The Cardinal'!

Tom prepared the Team a great 'Homemade Stew' Meal one
evening. We even had a nice waterfront view from the cabin too!

No matter how far out in the sticks you go, Ray will
find a place to get ice cream!
