Striving for Excellence is our motto. The BBYC is on a mission to be a witness to the masses by putting into action what Jesus commanded us to do: Mark 16:15 "Go ye, therefore into all the world..." Each year we board a bus with a group of young people ages 13-21 to Shaw University, Lott Carey Mission, to minister to God’s people in whatever way He directs. Whether picking corn, visiting with the elderly, or cleaning up debris after a hurricane, there is no task too great or too small. Here at Bethlehem we believe that our young people have significant contributions to make to God’s kingdom. They are encouraged to follow their dreams and strive for excellence in all they do. Our youth play an integral part within the church. The First Sunday of each month is designated Youth Day. Our young people participate in every aspect of the service by serving as ushers, offering up prayer to God for His people, reading the Word, singing praises to our Lord, and ministering to Him in mime and drama.
