Colors and comments
I guess my first order of business for the site will be to change this color scheme. Boy, it's hideous. Perhaps a nice blue instead?
I've also heard maybe it's not a good idea to open blog comments since I've known other people to have trouble with comment spam. I guess it might be a problem if someone actually knows about this page!

The idea of not allowing anonymous comments is good. I wonder if any of the spam engines have blogger accounts. Hopefully it's just too much trouble for them. I honestly was just worried about the communist-Euro-crazies posting on my site. On programming and non-political, I've generally thought that comments were cool since the comments could be very informative.
Yes, the color is pretty strong. Going with a tweaked version would be good.
