I have downloaded the installation CD as well as the Live CD. I liked the Live CD as well as the online documentation enough to where I am planning on attempting an install in the next 2 weeks. I have an old machine the basement (hooked up via wireless bridge) that I think I will attempt it on. I still don't think I could use it as my main environment though.

You know, I've been thinking for awhile that I should get a copy of VMWare for home use. Playing around with Linux would give me an excuse. I can't (for various reasons) give up Windows either.
