Call of Duty 2

Downloaded the demo last night at the official website after I saw a special on it on the G4 network. It's fantastic -- I was up until 2 am. It's extremely immersive, and it does a great job of making you feel a part of an actual war. Bullets whiz all around, planes fly by, and buildings explode from artillery shells. Although in large measure all the action is scripted, your team members react in slightly different ways during the battle. It's a nuance that doesn't make you feel like you're watching Groundhog Day when you have to repeat a section of the game.

I loved it, and now I'm probably going to have to buy it.
