Volkswagen Bus Family Campout
in Pennsylvania's Coal Region
Come spend a weekend with us in
Pennsylvania's coal region. There's plenty to see and
do! We will be camping at Indian Head Campground in
Bloomsburg. The campground is located along the
Susquehanna River and offers boating, fishing, and hiking
trails. The main event of the weekend will be a caravan
to nearby Knoebels Grove Amusement Park. Knoebels is the
largest free-admission and free-parking amusement park in
Pennsylvania. The park offers over 45 rides, including the
"Phoenix" and the "Twister," two of
America's largest wooden roller coasters. Knoebels also has an
olympic-size public swimming pool and an Anthracite Museum,
which houses a large collection of mining tools and other
memorabilia of the days when coal was king.
