The Long Goodnight...
Where have we been?  Well, really busy.

Ansley has got a new hobby.  She started dahnhak, Korean yoga.  It is really fun and challenging.  There is a center right near our home, so it is convenient.  She already feels much more energetic.  My body is not me, but mine. -Lee, Ilchi

We have all been sick with a cold.  Poor little Aricin has it now.  We are "Lysoling" the heck out of our doorknobs and lightswitches.  Wish us luck.

Eric sees better and better everyday!  He still sometimes forgets he doesn't need to put on his glasses or wear his contacts.

Ansley's 'first' dad is visiting from California.  AJ thinks he is great.  Denny's quote of the week-  "I'm your Grampy Denny, not your Grumpy Roy".  Roy (second dad) wants to know how long it took Denny to think that one up.

We are so happy our Holt guide, Adela, is coming to visit us from Seoul in July.  We can't wait to see you, Adela!

Did I mention that Eric is 'Breadman of the Year'?  Yes, they actually call the award 'Breadman of the Year'.  He got a great gift card for Fred Meyer as a prize.  Thanks, Bimbo (that's Beembo)!

For those of you who have recieved your announcements, we hope you are enjoying them.

Good night!

It's a miracle!
Matthew 20:33- They said to Him, "Lord, we want our eyes to be opened".

Eric had Lasik surgery on Thursday.  He can see wonderfully now!  His eyes are still healing and so he has not gained full sight; but he could read the clock radio from the same spot as Ansley on Friday morning (and she is 20/10)!  He is thrilled to be done with contacts and glasses forever!  Eric thought the coolest thing was that the staff and surgeon prayed prior to the surgery.  Eric wears these funky goggles at night which remind Ansley of the Matrix.

Eric says he'll finally be able to start golfing again, now that he can see the hole~

Thoughts On Motherhood
Yes, a screaming child that will not open his eyes is funny.

If you push those legs back too fast, the baby will poop on you.

Daddies are a special kind of husband.

Your mother is much more beautiful, and much more bossy, as a grandma.

A parent will make any stupid sound, or any funny face, to make their kid laugh- no matter who is listening.

Your father misses you more often when there is a grandchild at your house.

Open mouthed, wet kisses are not just for couples anymore.

My very wise friend, Jen-Mi said, "Everyone tells you how much work children are, but no one tells you how much more joy is in your life when you have a baby". (Thanks, Jen!)

We are open for business!
Hey, people!   We are ready for visitors.  I can think a few people ( Knights, Viskovs, etc.) who have not come to see our beautiful baby.  We are waiting for your phone call.  Don't be shy.  He really is wonderful and worth meeting!

Okay, I lied.  I'm pretty sure the next vacation will be to Papua New Guinea.  Then we are going to try to squeeze in a trip back to the ROK.  After that, we'll be on our way to South Africa!

It is indeed a privilege to be able to look back on your life and see God’s hand guiding you. Your steps, and every person who came into your life and how they helped God’s plan, were set already by Him. To catch just a glimpse of that, to see a small portion of the jigsaw puzzle that is my life, and while looking at it, with one decision, one moment of pure obedience to God see all the pieces snap into place, and form a picture...
