We had a party at our place, complete with the illegal bottle rockets and the requisite fireworks shows that dot our valley.  Our friend, Mie Sung, is visiting from South Korea, and we have been having lots of fun with her.  She was excited to actually celebrate a holiday, since many South Korean holidays are quite solemn.  Anyway, Eric and Ryan were doing a great job of giving us a down home fireworks show (coordinated by Heather and Dom).  Everyone was watching from the little grassy knoll adjacent to our house.  Does 'grassy knoll' sound like a recipe for disaster?  Suddenly the sprinklers came on.  Damned timers!  Everyone dashes for the sidewalk...and Betty fell down and broke her crown and Spring came tumbling after!  The end.  When someone has to go the hosptal, the party is over!
