Current Events for 2008

• May 3 (Sat) - 5:30 pm Dinner/Game/Puzzle and Make Mother's Day Cards for folks at the Carlin at Bethel.  Everyone is welcome. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. Bring a side dish, chips, fixings, dessert or drinks. Bring a friend and join us for a fun evening together. For more info call Judy Lipman at 703-920-6423.

• May 4 (Sun) - 10 am Worship Service, Communion Sunday. Rev Richar will be preaching.  Also, Monthly AFAC Collection of nonperishable food on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month at Bethel.  Examples are: canned meat, beans, vegetables and fruits, pasta, rice and cereal.
  

• May 7 (Wed) - Wednesday Evening Group at 7pm in the Library. Discussion of Leading Causes of Life by Gunderson & Pray.

• May 11 (Sun) - 10 am Worship Service, Mothers Day, Pentecost Sunday. Rev Smith will be preaching a sermon on "A Living Language"
  

• May 14 (Wed) - Wednesday Evening Group at 7pm in the Library. Discussion of Leading Causes of Life by Gunderson & Pray.

• May 18 (Sun) - 10 am Worship Service, Trinity Sunday, Rev Richar will be preaching.  Also, Ad Hoc Committee meeting 11:45am in the Church Library.

• May 21 (Wed) - Wednesday Evening Group at 7pm in the Library. Discussion of Leading Causes of Life by Gunderson & Pray.

• May 25 (Sun) - 10 am Worship Service, Rev Smith will be preaching a sermon on "Living in the Present"

• May 28 (Wed) - Wednesday Evening Group at 7pm in the Library. Discussion of Leading Causes of Life by Gunderson & Pray.

• June 6 (Fri) - Next AFAC bagging night.  Dinner will be at 6 pm, bagging will start a 7:15pm.  Dinner is at Boston Market, corner of Columbia Pike and Glebe Road, AFAC 2708 South Nelson Street. • June 7 (Sat) - Bethel's Annual Strawberry Festival from 4 - 7 pm.  There will be Bethel Specials (crushed strawberries on ice cream and a biscuit), hot dogs, and more! How can you help?
