Memorial Day Weekend:  Saturday, Sunday, and Monday – May 23-25, 2009 (50+ courts)
Here's the deal:
 
Locations:  Pittsburgh, PA – David L. Lawrence Convention Center (48 courts) and other college campus sites as needed
Base fee:  $125 per day
Travel:  A modest ($15-$75) travel allowance will be paid
Meals:  Three meals a day, served on site
Housing:  Hotel rooms (double occupancy) provided at no cost
Guests:  You may bring a guest, for a total cost of $150 for the weekend
Referee/Staff Socials:  Saturday and Sunday nights .... finger food, plus beverages
Clothing:  One pair Asics athletic shoes and one Asics East Coast polo shirt
Golf Outing:  Friday before tournament ..... 1:00 PM, scramble format.  $65 fee includes cart and prizes.  [SEE GOLF OUTING PAGE]
 
Referees' uniform:
  –  Friday and Sunday:  Asics "East Coast Championships" polo shirt (provided)
  –  Saturday:  Standard white "Certified Volleyball Official" short- or long-sleeve shirt
  –  White Asics shoes (provided) ..... but bring other white shoes, just in case!
  –  Either approved sweater "Certified Volleyball Official" or "USA Volleyball Certified Official") is authorized
  –  White socks
  –  Navy blue slacks (no Dockers!) ..... navy blue coaches' shorts ARE permitted
  –  Black belt
  –  Please ..... no "footies", turtlenecks, sweatshirts, or visible T-shirts
  –  Above all:  no alcoholic beverages while in uniform!
