Surprise, surprise - we got our RV back on Wednesday and
were able to go to the club meeting. It is not completely repaired but the slide will now go out and in so they
told us we could take it and they would call when the rest of the parts arrive and finish it then.
Six of our members were at the meeting - Joe and Nila Parks, Joe and Bobbye McGraw, Lon and Dean Beagles, Winford
and Dolores Venable, Jim and Norma Savage and us. We did not have a formal meeting; however our group did go out to
Willies place for lunch on Friday. We enjoyed meeting with 214, they are very congenial and a good group to be
with. Parks, Venable and us came home on Saturday morning after having breakfast with everyone. We missed the
Saturday night pot luck but all had other commitments. Looking forward to seeing everyone in September.
