We have posted some recent sermons on the site, please check them out.  We will conclude the "Searching for Truth" video series tonight.  It has been a good experience.  I think it is a tool that can be effective.

If the Lord wills, we will begin a study of Judges next Wednesday and 2nd Corinthians on Sunday morning.  We had a very nice Memorial Day service and it was good to see some of our people return.

We have received several comments on our "Tuesdays for the Lord" program, which will begin June 6th.  Come to the building on that day and serve the Lord as you will.  On those Tuesday evenings we will begin our computer class.

We are sending out the June version of "Christian Progress".  We have added a page to the Midway church of Christ site. This is the first draft and we are asking for your comments on this site.

This is Memorial Day weekend and it is our custom to emphasize the Lord's Supper on this particular weekend.  Please come with a mindset that can focus on the cross.  We also pray for safe travel for all who are on our roads and highways this week.  There will be 6,000,000 accidents in the US on our highways each year.  Can we do anything about this?

We plan to continue viewing the "Searching For Truth" series this evening.  We will be watching the fourth video in this series.  We have also ordered this tool for you to use in your personal evangelism.

A number of our family is traveling this month and we miss them while they are away.  We pray the Lord will protect us on our roads and highways.  They seem to becoming more and more dangerous.

After a sad and discouraging week it was all changed yesterday when Diana was baptized.  We rejoice with her decision and pray that the Lord will protect and guide her in all that she does.

I attended the funeral for Sandra Moreland at 10th Avenue.  It was my first time at that congregation and my first time to meet their minister, Larry Williams.  I really was uplifted and I look forward to getting to know Larry better.

I cannot imagine what Ruby is going through but I pray that the Lord will keep her close during these trying times.  May God bless us all!

Revolution
Church Growth statistics show that a forty year old church which is declining in numbers will continue to do so unless some drastic transformation takes place.  We need to pray and work toward an intervention that will turn our congregation around.  We need that intervention!

We need a revolution!  We are presenting a new organization plan that we hope and pray will be of benefit to Midway.  We need to cover a lot of detail work so that some of us can focus more on evangelism.  Pray and support our new plan, "Let's Grow Midway."

It has been a dry spell as far as posting to this blog.  A lot is happening at Midway and we pray that the Lord will direct us in all that we do.  We have presented a plan "Let's Grow Midway" to the church leaders and are preparing to present it to the congregation.  This is an organization plan that will hopefully get more people involved in the work of the church.
