OCTOBER REPORT

We had a beautiful month and we are thankful to the Lord.  It was great to have Pat Lee, Kris, Henry and the Schneider’s return.  We also had several members who traveled during the month and we are thankful they have all returned safely.

We had our first revamped fellowship meals during the month and I thought they went well.  I am thankful to all who are stepping up and making a difference with the activities of the church.  There is an excitement that has not been here before.

We entered a study of Ephesians on Sunday morning during the month and on Wednesday’s we began in 1st Samuel.  Please give consideration to attending our periods of Bible study if you are not doing so.  The ladies are meeting at 10:00 on Tuesday mornings and a new ladies class will begin on the 2nd Tuesday evening beginning this month.  Check with Carole or Mary Ann for more details.

Jacqueline Kovatch responded during the month and we have her in our prayers on a regular basis.  We have missed her the last few weeks because of the health of her husband.  We do have several that we miss because of health reasons and we want you to know that we are thinking and praying about you.

During the month Ruby’s son Ted was able to worship with his mother and we were thankful for that. Ted was injured in the Middle East and had surgery in Tampa this past month.  I appreciate Ruby very much.  She is a hard worker with a great attitude and I love her knowledge of the Scripture.  The verses she quotes in our class add a lot.  May God bless you Ruby Moreland!

We have now entered a new month, a month of thanksgiving, and we do pray that each of us will be truly thankful for the blessings we have in the Lord.  May God bless you!

This is a very beautiful time in Florida and we had a beautiful day of worship and fellowship yesterday.  The Lord truly is blessing us.  Remember the congregational meeting this coming Wednesday.  We plan to do this twice a year to keep everyone better informed.

As we grow in number, our prayer list also grows.  Please give extra time for your prayers on a daily basis.  Because of my recent schedule, I have not been doing as much visiting, and I miss that and apologize to you because of that.

May the Lord bless your week!

There is an excitement around Midway that has not been prevalent since I have been here. Things seem to be happening.  We are growing.  We pray that the Lord will continue to direct and guide us.

It is very nice to have Pat and Chris back with us.  They both are special people.  I enjoyed the new format for fellowship Sunday and I am thankful to all those who contributed.

We do want you to give thought to a transportation ministry.  Eng is doing a wonderful job bringing people to services but we need to provide him with relief and to expand the ministry.  Do you have any ideas?

We have had several hundred hits on this site over the last week and we are greatful for you taking the time to look.  On the internet there is so much that one can be distracted from where they wanted to go.  We pray that we can present a site that will benefit you and help you to grow closer to the Lord.  Please let us know what we can do a monthly basis that will help you grow, or others grow closer to God.
