We are also setting aside four days for special evangelism dates. The first of these will be December 20th and we want to invite people to come back home to God for the holiday season. April 4th is the second date and we want to have a special day of “Friends & Family” to celebrate and remember the cross and the resurrection. July 4th is on Sunday in 2010 and we want to remember those who serve our country in uniform. Invite a veteran to worship. The fourth date will be September 12th and we want to ask others to come and remember Christ and the events of the fallen towers, and to encourage others to come back to the church.

As we prepare to begin a new season this week here are some worthwhile goals that you might want to consider:

1. Read ___ pages a day.

4. Teach someone something from the Bible:

6. Study for the classes you are attending.

7. Read one of the major prophets twice.
 
8. Learn a song for worship. “Do You Know My Jesus?”
 
9. Read from Matthew regularly and often.

The temperature dropped to below 70 last night, for the first time since June 9th in our part of Florida; which is just south of Tampa Bay. I think most were ready for a break in what has been a hot summer for us.
