Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities
throughout the United States. It is not a charity and does not compete with the Good Samaritans of Rains
County or any other welfare program.
Sometimes called Blessings in the Box, Angel Food is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at
$30 per unit. Each month's menu is different and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value
of approximately $60. Generally one unit of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single
senior citizen for almost a month.
There are no second-hand items, no damaged or out-dated goods, no dented cans, no day-old breads and no produce that
is almost too ripe. Specialty boxes such as steaks, chicken, pork and produce are also offered. There is no limit
to the number of units or specials an individual can purchase.

There are no applications to complete, no minimums, no income restrictions and no qualifications to which participants
must adhere. And, we accept food stamps.
All citizens of Rains County are encouraged to participate.
