INFORMATION FOR PERSPECTIVE PARENTS

About our Center and Staff:

The Staff at Pilgrim Child Care & Preschool (PCCP) dedicate their planning time to ensure: optimum communication with parents, academic objectives included in the Massachusetts Preschool Curriculum Frameworks, and a constructive experience for everyone.   PCCP is a non-profit, non-denominational, quality early childhood education center.   The facility has bright classrooms and corridors, which provide an uplifting environment for children to learn and play.   The PCCP is the perfect place for your child’s early learning and growth.  The primary goal is to provide quality care and age-appropriate learning for children with a consistent teaching and learning approach.  The curriculum’s weekly activities include creative and critical thinking skills through activities including art, dramatic play, science, math, manipulative, music, literature, cooking, literacy, and physical development.  PCCP Staff provides appropriate interaction with the children and offers engaging activities in each program.  Enrichment teachers also come in to teach Fitness Gym and a Music / Drama program to our Toddler and older classes.

How to Enroll:

You can register your child at any time and, January starts enrollment for the new school year (Sep. through Aug.).  Parents may schedule an appointment to visit the Center at any time and walk-in tours are welcome any time.  Parents may submit a registration form in person, by mail, or by fax.  Once an opening is approved, the registration is processed and an Enrollment Agreement is established.  A one-month tuition deposit is required for all families; the deposit is applied to the last month of attendance. Tuition is due on the first of each month. Call with any questions,

Michelle L. Manganaro, Director, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., extension 1#

Dawn Kerivan, Bookkeeper, 7:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m., extension 0#

Openings in each classroom are filled on a first come, first serve basis.  Pre-Registrations for families already in attendance, are due by January of each year.  Registration applications from new families are accepted throughout January and processed in early February.  The PCCP admissions process gives priority to Full Day Enrollment requests, Full Year Enrollment requests, PCCP Alumni families, and Pilgrim Church families.

We welcome your early registrations at any time of year, beginning in January for early consideration.  Pilgrim is here to serve you and your child.  Please let us know how we can best assist you in planning for your child and feel free to contact one of us if you should have any questions.

Thank you for looking into the PCCP programs.
