Nominating Committee of Community Presbyterian Church

The Nominating Committee is responsible for selecting nominees for the elected positions of the church, including Elders for Session, Deacons, Nominating Committee, and Auditors. In addition, the Nominating Committee makes recommendations to Session for the appointment of corporate officers and Chairs of committees.

The usual work of the Nominating Committee each year is to:

• Nominate members to various elected positions for congregational approval at the annual
  meeting in November
• Recommend to Session the appointment of:
  • Committee chairs
  • Corporate officers, including Clerk of Session, President of
    Trustees, Financial Secretary and the Treasurer.
    

The committee normally begins meeting on a regular basis in July and presents its nominees at the Congregational meeting in November. If you have any nominee recommendations, please feel free to contact the church office and the committee will consider them at its next meeting.
