Organizational Help—assist with establishing
or strengthening local groups organized to address a specific purpose or provide a service to the community. Provide the network to help organizations succeed and locate potential partner organizations with similar
goals.
“We are successful when you are successful.”
Technical
Help—provide assistance to develop
and coordinate individual projects. Locate the expertise necessary to bring about
a successful conclusion to the project. Assure that all projects have the necessary
technical assistance to provide a quality and professional product or service at the conclusion of the project.
Financial
Help—although the RC&D does
not have any funding available, the Council assists in locating sources of funding.
This is accomplished by writing funding proposals to foundations, corporations and government agencies and by developing
specific funding requests for consideration by local governments.
Community
Development Help—seek new or expanded
markets for natural resource products. Promote local and regional businesses
and tourism while conserving the significant natural and historic sites located throughout the area. Assist with the improvement of infrastructure.
