Directions -
The Nature Center & Historic Murray Farmstead are located on Oakhill Road, Middletown, New Jersey,
just west of Route 35. There are directional signs posted on Route 35 and at the Parkway exits.
The Fossil Beds are located on Middletown-Lincroft Road, Middletown, New Jersey, between Dwight Rd/Nutswamp
Rd & Oakhill Road. There is a large Poricy Park Fossil Bed sign posted at the fossil bed parking entrance.
Via the Garden State Parkway from the NORTH. Get off at Exit 114(Holmdel-Middletown). At the light
at the end of the ramp, make a left onto Red Hill Road. Make a right at the second light onto Dwight Road and stay on this
road 1 1/2 miles. At light, turn left onto Middletown-Lincroft Road. Continue for 1/4 mile, and turn right at the first light
onto Oak Hill Road. Go over one set of railroad tracks. The Nature Center is on the right immediately before the second
set of railroad tracks.
Via the Garden State Parkway from the SOUTH. Get off at Exit 114 (Holmdel-Middletown).
Make a right at light at end of the ramp. At next light, turn right onto Dwight Road. Stay on this road 1 1/2 miles to the
first light. At this light, turn left onto Middletown-Lincroft Road. Continue for 1/4 mile, and turn right at the first light
onto Oak Hill Road. Go over one set of railroad tracks. The Nature Center is on the right immediately before the second set
of railroad tracks.
From the Trenton area. Take 195 East to the Garden State Parkway. Take the Parkway North
to Exit 114 and then follow the directions for Parkway from the SOUTH.
From the Princeton Area. Go East on 571; Southeast to Hightstown; Route 33 East to Freehold;
Route 537 East to Colts Neck to intersection of Route 34 (Colts Neck Inn will be on left). Turn left onto Route 34. At next
light, turn right onto Phalanx Road (Catholic Church on left after turn). Take Phalanx Road to end. Turn right at light. Turn
left at next light onto Middletown-Lincroft Road and follow Oak Hill Road (third traffic light). Turn right onto Oak Hill
Road. Nature Center is on the right immediately before the second set of railroad tracks.
From Philadelphia. Take New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 7A (Route 195). Take 195 East to the
Garden State Parkway. Take the Garden State Parkway North to Exit 114 and then follw the directions for the Parkway from the
SOUTH.
Via Route 18. Exit at Marlboro. Take Route 79 North to intersection of Route 520. Take
520 East to Lincroft. At the main intersection, make a left onto Middletown-Lincroft Road (keeping Lincroft Inn on your left)
and follow to Oak Hill Road (third traffic light). Turn onto Oak Hill Road. The Nature Center is about 1/4 mile on the right,
immediately before the second set of railroad tracks.
Via Route 35 from the SOUTH. Approximately 1 mile north of Red Bank, take Oak Hill Road
west. There are Poricy Park signs at this intersection. The Nature Center is on the left, just after the railroad tracks.
Via Route 35 from the NORTH. Take Chapel Hill Road Exit.Follow Jug Handle to right. At
Traffic light, corss over route 35. Chapel Hill Road becomes Oak Hill Road. The Nature Center is approximately 1 mile up Oak
Hill Road on the Left hand side just after railroad tracks.
Via Route 34 heading SOUTH. Take Route 520 East (into Lincroft). Make a left onto
Middletown-Lincroft Road (at Lincroft Inn) and follow Oak Hill Road (third traffic light). Turn right onto Oak Hill Road.
The Nature Center is on the right, immediately before the second set of railroad tracks.

Hours of Operation
Poricy Park trails are open year round from dawn until 10:00 PM.
Nature Center Hours: Mon thru
Fri 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Weekends: per scheduled programs
Farmhouse Hours: 3:00-4:00 PM usually on the last Sunday of the month
Fossil Beds Hours:
Open April through October from dawn till dusk.
Holiday Hours
Holiday hours of 9:00AM – 12:00PM will be observed on President's Day, Good Friday.
Holiday Closings: The Nature Center will be closed on the following holidays: New
Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day,
and Day after Christmas.
