The Session of Prince of Peace consists of the pastor
and the elders in active service. All members are
entitled to vote. The Session is responsible for the
mission and government of Prince of Peace.

  The Session's Responsibilities
  • To provide for the worship of the people of God, including the preaching of the Word, the sharing of the Sacraments, and the music program

  • To provide for the continued growth of each member

  • To develop and supervise the church school and educational program

  • To provide congregational opportunities for outreach and evangelism

  • To receive new members into the church

  • To maintain relationships with the higher governing bodies of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

  • To challenge the people of God with the privilege of responsible Christian stewardship of their money, time and talents

  • To establish the annual budget

  • To provide for the administration of the program of Prince of Peace

  • To manage the property

  • To keep an accurate roll of Prince of Peace membership
