No
appointment is necessary, but you may call to discuss your
consignment before you come in. We consign, buy, and sell
women's, juniors' and men's clothing, shoes, jewelry, and
accessories. All items must be of current style and purchased
within the last three years (except Vintage items, pre-1979).
All items must be freshly laundered (or dry cleaned), pressed
and preferably on hangers. Items must be in like-new condition
with no holes, missing buttons, broken zippers, or stains.
Check your items carefully under a bright light! If anything
does not meet our standards of clean, we may impose a nominal
steaming and or cleaning fee, at our discretion. (Please DO
NOT bring items that have excess wear, are damaged, or are
more than 3 years old.
When
deciding what to bring, ask yourself, "Would I pay money for
this?") Please don't be offended if we do not select some
of your items. We must let our experience and shoppers' requests
be our guide. Keep in mind - the better your items look, the
quicker they will sell and the more money they will bring
you!
Consignors
receive 40% of the final selling price, less a small buyer's
fee* paid by the customer. Accounts are updated automatically
after every sale on our fully computerized point of sale system.
At your request, you will receive a detailed statement of
your account showing status of consigned items. Payments for
sold merchandise will be made upon your request. Each check
written must be in excess of $10 (one per month, one month
after initial consignment date) unless you are closing your
account. Checks will be mailed (at your request) for a $1.00
fee. You may use any monies in your account for store purchases
immediately after they are deposited.
No
appointment is necessary. We accept items Tuesday through
Saturday from 11am to 4pm, Thursdays until 7pm. You may bring
items during business hours and leave them. We will then choose
items to consign. All items not selected must be picked up
within seven business days by 5:00 pm. If they are not picked
up promptly, they will be donated to charity.
All
prices will be set at the discretion of Lé Chic Boutique.
Any price reductions, coupons and/or discounts will be charged
directly to the consignor. Lé Chic Boutique is free to set
any price it deems appropriate. Items may be reduced or offered
at special sale prices at any point during the consignment
period; usually, but not limited to, after the initial 30
days.
If
you have unsold items at the end of your 90-day consignment
period, you may claim them or choose to have us donate them
to local charities.
*Buyer's
Fee - A fee imposed on each item, based on a sliding scale.
This fee will be paid at the purchase point, and will not
affect the amount paid to the consignor.
We
do our best to sell your items… providing a clean and pleasant
shopping environment, eye-catching merchandising, fair pricing,
regular mark-downs and sales, and quality customer service.
