Volunteers Mike and Tammy Brown have agreed to provide loving foster care
to Cane, the sweet yellow lab who was rescued from Mississippi. This is such terrific news! Cane has separation anxiety issues
he is working through and he needs more one-on-one time. Everyone at the shelter is so happy for Cane. It's a huge christmas
present for us knowing he is in such capable, caring hands! Thank you Tammy & Mike, you guys are the greatest.
On Sunday, we hosted our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Bowling Party.
We all had a blast! It was a pretty close game, but in the end, the team of: Prue Anderson, Jeri Coulter, Lila Goodson and
Judene Marchetti won first place! I overheard someone from that team say they hadn't bowled in years... (nice try, I
bet they've all been practicing for months!) Congratulations you guys, you played an awesome game.
