Louise (one of our permanent
shelter cats, or best known as Wheezie) is doing beautifully after having one of her eyes removed. Poor Wheezie has suffered
from chronic eye and upper respiratory infections. She is quite happy but always snuffly and gooky eyed. The veterinarian
suggested that we remove the eye since she had lost vision in that eye anyway. The surgery went well and has reduced her symptoms
dramatically. (Louise is the beautiful calico kitty standing next to the watercooler at the top of this page.)
