Parishioners are elected to the vestry (parish governing board) at the Annual Meeting each year. Vestry members serve
a three-year term. Wardens are elected to a two-year term, serving first as Junior Warden, then Senior Warden. A
six-year limit applies to both vestry and warden terms. Any baptized Christian, in good standing and known to the treasurer,
may serve on the vestry.

From The Vestry Handbook (C. Webber, 1998):
The vestry of an Episcopal church has three primary responsibilities: to take care of (1) the parish finances
and (2) parish building, and (3) to choose individuals to fill various positions of parish leadership and representation.
