I am Robert Talley, pastor of the Fellowship Bible Church of Castleton, Vermont. My wife, Dawn, and I have two wonderful
children: Phil, who is talented and funny and fast approaching the teen years and Jadyn, whose bouncing pigtails keep more
than just the nursery workers smiling.
Before coming to Vermont, we spent eleven years in church planting in German-speaking Europe (Munich, the Austrian Alps,
and East Berlin) with Baptist Mid-Missions headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.
I have an inordinate interest in the Civil War (being from Alabama, I'm still in denial) and my wife's cooking. Not necessarily
in that order.
As pastor my objective is to lead a ministry that is striving to evangelize its community and the world, to develop believers
into disciples, and disciples into servant leaders. My ultimate goal is that our church brings as many as possible within
the community and the church body to faith and growth in Christ resulting in fulfillment in Christ and maturity in Christ
as described in Ephesians 4.
