G.I.F.T. and the Church Safety Sub-committee have worked diligently to create a statement of policy and procedure to facilitate our congregation's intent to preserve our rights.  At the February meeting, the Consistory approved a church-wide policy affirming and protecting our respect of all individuals and their rights to privacy and safety.  Such a policy has been encouraged by our denomination and is required by the UCC Insurance Board (underwriter of the church's insurance package). 

Effective Sunday, March 4th, parents are required to sign their children in and out of the Nursery and for Children's Church.  For the Nursery, a clip board register will placed near the door.  For Children's Church, the register will be placed on the radiator at the back of the Sanctuary.  Instructions are included on each.  Additionally, with each register, there is a form to be completed if someone other than the parent signing the register is to pick up the child from either location.
