Lacey Transportation was founded in 1970 by Charles McElwee as a small venture to meet a need for delivery and taxi
service in the Ocean County area.
Lacey Transportation is dedicated to providing the best customer service imaginable. We proudly develop close
working relationships with our customers and strive to build lasting goodwill.
A plumber sent us for a designer sink from a supplier in Cranbury, NJ, over an hour away. He needed it before inspection
the same day. It was delivered in three hours.
Lacey Courier & Transportation Co., Inc. Lacey Transportation filed as a business in 1988 and in 1992 became incorporated as Lacey Courier and Transportation
Company, Inc. Some of our customers have been there since the beginning and still depend on us today.

Courier/Messenger - Door to door, from parcel to pallet, we pick up from any location and deliver
as you request.
Taxi - Door to door, from person to parrot we provide clean, comfortable cars to get you where
you need to go.
On Demand - We are ready when you are. Most of the calls we get are for jobs to be done
now. Per mile rates.
STAT - We can provide around-the-clock service. As one of our customers, you can reach us anytime.
Contracted - We serve many different types of businesses with regular or routed service.
Consulting - We can draw on over 30 years in the transportation business to help you solve
the toughest transportation challenges.
