Sarah A. Philo
Licensed Funeral Director
Sarah is a graduate of SUNY Canton College
of Technology, majoring in Mortuary Science. Her hometown is Oneida, New York. She began her funeral director residency
with the Brew Funeral Home in July of 2000 and then became a licensed funeral director with the
funeral home in 2001. She is extremely conciencious about her work and strives to give her families the
support and compassion that they are in need of.
Sammuel M. Darling
Licensed Funeral Director
Sammuel M. Darling is a 2007 graduate of Simmons
Institute of Funeral Service majoring in Occupational Studies in Funeral Service Arts & Sciences. He received his funeral
director license in 2008 after finishing his residency with the Brew Funeral Home. He is a former resident of Auburn,
New York and currently resides in Fleming, New York with his wife and daughter. He is dedicated to serving
his families with compassion and care and is committed to the continued tradition of outstanding service.
We also employ several respected area residents who we refer to as our support staff. Their duties mainly revolve around
assisting at both visitations and funeral services, driving the vehicles, and participating in a number of important
roles related to the service to those we serve.
